- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers needs, and triaging technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process).
- 2 years of experience coding in a general purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go or JavaScript, etc.) or in system design.
- Experience with web technologies (HTTP, DNS, TCP, TLS).
- Experience with networking (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, Peering, Load Balancing, etc.).
- Experience as a Linux/Unix systems administrator.
- 2 years of experience with two or more of the following: Web Technology, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes.
- 2 years of experience in technical consulting in supporting large enterprise customers with high service-level objective and service-level agreement requirements.
- Experience with cloud computing (i.e., certifications, internships, coursework, etc.).
- Experience with containers (Kubernetes, Docker), system virtualization, on-premise or hybrid cloud computing, cloud monitoring and logging or local and cloud storage.
- Experience with computer networking, using techniques such as packet capture/packet analysis, load testing and traffic path analysis to troubleshoot network latency, packet loss.

As a Technical Solutions Developer, you own our large and important customer issues in addition to providing level two support to our other support teams. You will be a part of a global team that provides 24x7 support to help customers seamlessly make the switch to Google Cloud.
In this role, you will troubleshoot technical problems for customers with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and when needed, coding/scripting. You will make our products easier to adopt and use by making improvements to the product, tools, processes and documentation. Our Technical Solutions team is driven by customers and you will help drive the success of Google Cloud by understanding and advocating for our customers' issues

For Unites States Applicants: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities:
- Manage the customer's problems through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.
- Develop knowledge of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in developing, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
- Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams including product and developing teams to find ways to improve the product, and drive high-quality production.
- Work as part of a team of Developers/Consultants that globally ensure 24 hour customer support. This will include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours or shifts.
