Über
We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Full Stack engineer to help us properly stand up a production deployment pipeline for our existing Replit project
Our goal is to:
Continue building and testing inside Replit
Push code changes to GitHub when ready
Automatically deploy from GitHub to AWS for production
We want a clean, professional CI/CD pipeline that separates development (Replit) from production (AWS) while keeping our workflow simple and fast.
This must be completed using our existing:
Replit account
GitHub account
AWS account
Access has already been provided.
Current State
Application currently lives in Replit under project name:
GitHub account is active
AWS account is active
No formal CI/CD pipeline currently exists
No structured production environment currently configured
What We Need Built
1. Proper GitHub Integration from Replit
Connect Replit project to GitHub repository
Ensure clean branch strategy (main + dev recommended)
Confirm reliable push/pull workflow
Ensure no secrets are committed
2. AWS Production Environment Setup
Contractor should recommend best architecture based on app stack, but expected options may include:
AWS Elastic Beanstalk
ECS (Fargate)
EC2 (if necessary)
Or other modern AWS deployment pattern
Production setup must include:
Environment configuration
Environment variables management
Secure secrets handling
Domain configuration (if applicable)
SSL configuration
Basic monitoring/logging enabled
3. CI/CD Pipeline (GitHub → AWS)
When we push to:
main branch → auto deploy to production
dev branch → optional staging deploy
We expect:
GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD configuration
Clean automated build + deploy workflow
Rollback capability if deploy fails
4. Environment Separation
We want clear separation between:
Development (Replit)
GitHub repository
AWS Production
Replit remains our development sandbox.
AWS is production only.
Deliverables
Working CI/CD pipeline from GitHub to AWS
Production AWS environment fully deployed and live
Documentation explaining:
Deployment flow
How to push changes
How to roll back
How to manage environment variables
Basic AWS cost guidance
Security best practices implemented
Timeline
We would like this completed as soon as possible.

Important Notes
We are actively building this application and need a deployment architecture that supports fast iteration.
This is part of a larger ecosystem under the Company's umbrella so this deployment framework must be scalable for future expansion.
We prefer infrastructure that is modern, stable, and not overly complex.
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
