This is not a basic theme tweak project. We expect pixel-perfect execution, strong UX sense, and clean, maintainable code aligned with Odoo best practices.
Project Scope
You will:
• Customize Odoo Website & eCommerce frontend (QWeb, XML, JS, SCSS)
• Implement high-end UI improvements from design references
• Optimize product pages, shop layout, filters, cart, and checkout UX
• Improve mobile responsiveness and performance
• Refactor existing frontend overrides for scalability
• Ensure compatibility with future Odoo upgrades
Technical Requirements
You must have:
• Strong experience with Odoo 16 or 17 (Website & eCommerce)
• Deep understanding of:
◦ QWeb templating
◦ OWL framework
◦ Odoo assets pipeline
◦ JS module system
◦ SCSS inheritance structure
• Experience overriding controllers and extending website_sale safely
• Clean Git workflow
• Performance optimization experience
Bonus:
• Experience with headless integrations
• Experience improving Core Web Vitals
• UX/UI sensitivity for premium brands
Deliverables
• Clean, documented custom module for all frontend overrides
• No direct core edits
• Structured asset management
• Fully responsive layouts
• Tested on staging before production deployment
