- I run an educational YouTube channel and am looking for a long-term video editor for talking-head content focused on clarity and viewer retention.
- This project starts with a paid trial edit. After selecting the right fit, ongoing weekly videos will continue at a higher recurring per-video rate.
- The goal of editing is to improve pacing and understanding, not flashy or meme-heavy editing. The finished video should feel clean, professional, and engaging.
Editing style expectations
- Remove filler words, pauses, and repetition
- Tighten sentences for smoother flow
- Add emphasis zooms at key moments
- Occasional on-screen text/graphics to clarify ideas
- Supportive B-roll when helpful
- Maintain a professional tone (avoid excessive memes, sound effects, or over-editing)
- Reference style: clean educational pacing similar to modern professional educational YouTube channels.
- This will be ongoing weekly work for the right editor.
