Über
We are seeking an experienced GeneXus developer to help migrate our existing payment gateway integration from Stripe to Stax Payments within our current GeneXus-based B2B dashboard.
This is an existing, production system used by business customers. The immediate task is focused on payment gateway migration, followed by ongoing support and enhancements as needed.
This is not a greenfield project. You will be working within an existing GeneXus application and codebase.

Primary Responsibilities
Phase 1: Payment Gateway Migration (Immediate Priority)
• Remove or disable existing Stripe payment integration
• Implement Stax Payments gateway using their API documentation:

• Integrate securely within the existing GeneXus architecture
• Implement functionality including:
• Tokenizing credit cards
• Charging stored payment methods
• Handling successful and failed transactions
• Managing payment method storage
• Ensure PCI-compliant handling of payment data
• Maintain compatibility with current dashboard workflows

Phase 2: Testing and Validation
• Test all payment flows thoroughly
• Validate successful payments, declined payments, and edge cases
• Ensure no regression to existing functionality
• Coordinate with our team for staging and production deployment

Phase 3: Ongoing Support (Longer-Term)
After successful migration, we are looking for continued support including:
• GeneXus application maintenance
• Payment-related enhancements
• Bug fixes
• Feature additions to the B2B dashboard
• General GeneXus development support

Required Skills and Experience
Required:
• Strong experience with GeneXus development
• Experience integrating third-party REST APIs within GeneXus
• Experience with payment gateway integrations (Stripe, Stax, Authorize.Net, etc.)
• Experience working on existing GeneXus applications (not just new builds)
• Understanding of secure payment handling best practices
Preferred:
• Experience migrating between payment gateways
• Experience with B2B dashboards or portals
• Experience with tokenized payments
• Experience with PCI compliance considerations
