Scope of Work:
Review and optimize the existing backend (~400 lines, well-commented)
Set up all required API accounts and configure .env variables
Create and configure the Supabase (PostgreSQL) database using the provided schema
Test and integrate external APIs: Twitter, Instagram, News, AWS Comprehend (sentiment analysis)
Connect the React dashboard frontend to the backend API for real-time athlete data
Deploy the backend to Vercel or Railway
Ensure automated daily cron jobs are working correctly
Implement basic error handling, logging, and testing
Provide brief handover notes and documentation
Requirements:
Strong experience with / Express and REST API integrations
Experience with React frontend development and connecting to APIs
Familiarity with Supabase / PostgreSQL
Knowledge of AWS Comprehend or similar services is a plus
Experience deploying apps on Vercel, Railway, or similar platforms
Attention to detail and ability to follow setup guides accurately
Clean coding practices and basic testing experience

Preferred Candidate:
Someone with full-stack experience who can handle both backend and React frontend tasks, connect APIs, optimize the system, and deliver a fully working, deployed product without hand-holding.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
