The Role & What You'll Do
This role is all about quality, precision, and curiosity. You'll help ensure that what we ship actually works — in English and German — across all our platforms.
Your responsibilities include:
- Manual Testing Across Platforms: Test new features and critical flows across our Android app, iOS app, and our dedicated hardware device. This includes setup flows, updates, app-to-device interactions, and real-world usage scenarios. You'll focus on exploratory testing, not just following checklists.
- Release Validation: Before releases, verify that all core flows work reliably, edge cases are covered, and nothing breaks across platforms.
- Translation & Language Checks (German): Review and validate German translations in the app, emails, and UI. This requires native or near-native German skills and a strong sense for tone, clarity, and correctness.
- Bug Reproduction & Documentation: Identify issues, reproduce them reliably, and document them clearly so the development team can fix them efficiently.
Product & Usability Feedback: Provide practical feedback on UX, wording, and flows from a real-user perspective.
Your Profile
- Fluent German (written & spoken): required for translation and language checks
- Tech-curious and patient: QA experience is a plus
- Reliable and self-organized, comfortable working independently
- Based in Europe (strongly preferred) — we need to ship hardware devices for testing
Availability & Workload
This role requires flexibility depending on the development phase:
- During normal development: ~5 hours per week
- Before releases: 20+ hours per week availability for intensive testing (about every 2 months)

Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
