Overview
We are seeking a highly technical Virtual Assistant to manage and optimize a Claude-based AI bot used for automated workflows and content generation. The ideal candidate understands prompt engineering, API usage, token cost control, and workflow automation. The primary goal is to ensure high-quality outputs while minimizing token usage and API costs.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and operate Claude AI bot via API
• Optimize prompts to reduce token consumption while maintaining output quality
• Design structured prompts to avoid unnecessary verbosity
• Monitor daily token usage and implement cost controls
• Set up guardrails to prevent inefficient or excessive token calls
• Create reusable prompt templates for consistent outputs
• Implement caching strategies where appropriate
• Test and refine system instructions for improved efficiency
• Document workflows and best practices
Required Skills
• Experience working with Anthropic Claude API
• Strong prompt engineering experience
• Understanding of tokenization and API cost structures
• Experience with automation tools (Zapier, Make, custom Python scripts, etc.)
• Ability to design concise instruction frameworks
• Familiarity with JSON-based structured outputs
• Basic understanding of API rate limits and logging
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience optimizing LLM costs at scale
• Background in AI automation or agent-based systems
• Understanding of structured output enforcement
• Ability to analyze token logs and reduce redundancy
Performance Goals
• Reduce token usage by X% within the first 30–60 days
• Maintain output accuracy and quality standards
• Implement measurable cost-tracking dashboard
Compensation
