WFG Admin (Summer Student)

As a WFG Admin (Summer Student) , you will play a key role in supporting daily administrative and operational activities related to client onboarding and mutual fund processing.

What you'll accomplish with us

As a WFG Admin (Summer Student) , you'll be at the core of our administrative operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the proper and timely placement of electronic documents while meeting daily processing deadlines
  • Processing non-financial requests accurately and efficiently
  • Performing data entry by setting up clients and Know Your Client (KYC) information in the back-office system (Winfund)
  • Preparing daily transaction documents
  • Working closely with the Client Services team as well as the dealer's Head Office
  • Communicating with various fund companies as required
  • Completing other administrative duties as assigned

  • Is known for their strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Stands out for their organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrates a positive, energetic, and collaborative work ethic
  • Is recognized for their ability to work effectively within a close-knit team
  • Has experience or academic exposure to mutual fund operations or financial administration (an asset)
  • Has knowledge of mutual fund administration concepts such as trade processing, settlement, trust accounting, and registered plans (RSP, TFSA, etc.)
  • Has familiarity with Winfund, Synergize, and Fundserv (considered an asset)

Compensation:
The typical hiring range for this position is between $18.50 and $28.00 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
