Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to helping individuals improve communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life through evidence-based therapy and collaborative care.
*Responsibilities:*
· Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and/or swallowing disorders
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
· Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
· Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
· Participate in meetings, care planning, and required trainings
· Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards
*Qualifications:*
· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
· Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
· Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
· Strong communication and documentation skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Must carry own professional liability insurance
*Preferred:*
· Experience in community mental health
· Knowledge of trauma-informed care and person-centered planning
· Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
*Benefits:*
This is a contractual position.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45,000.00 - $87,991.70 per year
Work Location: In person
