Border Enforcement Agent

Embark on a long-term federal law enforcement career with the U.S. Border Patrol as an entry-level Border Enforcement Agent.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, including customs regulations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders, ensuring national security and public safety.

To qualify for this position:

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and demonstrate strong observational abilities to effectively detect and deter illicit activities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; however, candidates may also have an associate's degree in criminal justice or a related field. Relevant experience in law enforcement or border patrol operations will be highly regarded by our selection committee.
