Customs and Border Protection Officer

• Enforce U.S. customs, immigration, and agriculture laws
  at ports of entry along the Southwest border.


• Detect and prevent smuggling of contraband,
  animal diseases, plant pests, and prohibited items.
  

You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without reapplying)
during normal circumstances after one year in each grade if your performance meets expectations.
