We are seeking a forward-thinking, "AI-native" Full Stack Developer to help refine and expand a custom application built in Lovable. The project is designed to automate the conversion of Figma designs into clean HTML, mobile-responsive CSS frameworks, and ultimately fully functional WordPress themes.
I have built the foundation (currently at about a 75% conversion success rate), and I need an expert to get us to a 90-95% completion level where the AI does the heavy lifting, leaving only minor refinements for a developer.
The Project Scope
The application currently functions in phases. Your role will be to refine the logic and UI/UX within the Lovable environment for the following steps:
Figma to HTML Export: Improve the "chunking" of Figma frames and ensure the AI accurately interprets clean, labeled Figma files.
CSS Framework Converter: Ensure the tool can output high-quality, mobile-responsive code in Tailwind, Bootstrap, and Materialize.
AI Assistant Refinement: Fix UI bugs where toolbars disappear during the "Edit with AI" process and optimize the prompt logic.
WordPress Integration (Phase 4): Develop a system to generate a standard WordPress theme skeleton and a content importer using Gutenberg (native blocks).
Our Tech Stack & Philosophy
Platform: Lovable (Knowledge of how to prompt and manage state within Lovable is essential).
LLM: Google Gemini Pro (We exclusively use Gemini Pro for its coding capabilities).
"Vibe Coding" Approach: We prefer less restrictive prompt logic to allow the AI to utilize its full power rather than over-engineering the rules.
Goal: We want to reduce the time to build a custom homepage from 12 hours of manual coding to less than 2 hours using this tool.
Requirements
Proven experience with Lovable
Expertise in Tailwind, Bootstrap, and Materialize.
Deep familiarity with WordPress theme development and the Gutenberg editor.
Ability to work iteratively: You will be expected to "learn" the current Lovable state, suggest a project plan/hours estimate, and work collaboratively.
A "hacker" mindset: You should be comfortable using AI to write the majority of the code while you act as the architect and refiner.
A note for the interview
In your application, please mention if you have used Lovable or Gemini Pro specifically for coding tasks. I have a stable version bookmarked that we can use for testing and onboarding.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
