RUNNR is an independent performance running brand built for consistent runners. We are scaling aggressively and increasing paid ad spend on Meta.
Our goal is to scale Meta to $200k/month within 90 days.
To do that, we are building a structured, high-volume creative testing machine. We are looking for a Junior Creative Strategist who understands direct response and wants to grow inside a fast-moving DTC brand.
This is a performance role. Not an aesthetic role.
Your Mission
Build and operate a creative system capable of supporting aggressive Meta scaling.
You will work directly with the founder, media buyer, creators, and editors to test, analyse, and iterate ad creatives weekly.
Your work must enable scaling to $200k/month in Meta ad spend.
Responsibilities
1) Creative Strategy & Testing
– Develop weekly creative testing plans
– Create new hooks based on performance data
– Build angle testing frameworks (problem, proof, comparison, identity, etc.)
– Analyse winning ads and break down why they worked
– Identify patterns in CTR, hook rate, thumbstop rate, CVR
– Track fatigue and propose refreshes
You must think in systems, not single videos.
2) Creator Management
– Brief UGC creators clearly and structurally
– Send scripts and creative frameworks
– Review submitted content
– Provide feedback to improve conversion
– Identify top-performing creators
– Organise creator content pipeline
3) Editor Collaboration
– Work closely with video editors
– Structure every ad clearly (Hook → Problem → Solution → Proof → CTA)
– Ensure strong first 2 seconds
– Ensure product is shown clearly in motion
– Test multiple hook variations per concept
– Push for high output volume
4) Performance Reporting
– Weekly creative performance reports
– Identify winning angles
– Recommend scaling or cutting
– Document learnings
– Maintain creative testing tracker
What We're Looking For
– 1–2 years experience in DTC / performance marketing
– Strong understanding of direct response advertising
– Comfortable analysing Meta ad metrics
– Organised, structured thinker
– High ownership mentality
– Ambitious and growth-driven
You must understand:
– Hook testing
– UGC ad structure
– Creative fatigue
– Why certain ads convert
– How creative enables scaling
Bonus:
– Experience with activewear or performance brands
– Understanding of running culture
Success Metrics
Primary Objective:
Build a creative machine capable of supporting $200k/month Meta ad spend within 90 days.
This includes:
– 20–40 new creative variations per week
– 3–5 winning ads live consistently
– Reduced creative fatigue
– Clear testing structure documented
– Strong alignment between creative & media buying
30 Days:
– Creative calendar running
– Minimum 20 variations per week
– Clear performance tracking system
60 Days:
– 3–5 scalable winners identified
– Hook testing structured
– Documented learnings
90 Days:
– Creative system strong enough to feed aggressive scaling
– Meta spend increasing sustainably
– Clear creative roadmap for next quarter
