WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER
NOTE: Attention to detail is important to us, so please read this entire description before applying and follow the instructions below. Any application that doesn't fulfill the instructions or requirements below will be ignored.
ABOUT US
TinyURL is the original URL shortener, created over 20 years ago to make the internet a simpler and more user-friendly place. In recent years, we've begun exploring the potential of the service as a full SaaS product capable of leading the market for link shortening, link management, and related solutions.
We are a fast-growing, multinational team looking to grow our team of skilled and motivated talent.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You are the single source of truth for everything we build: you run internal discovery, write crystal-clear specifications, own the backlog & roadmap, and ensure perfect alignment between the Founder's vision and the development team's execution.
ABOUT YOU
You will be our single source of truth for everything we build. Your daily work includes:
Running internal discovery workshops with the Founder and the team
Writing crystal-clear high-level documentation covering feature overview, risk and mitigation, acceptance criteria, and UI/UX requirements
Monitoring and updating all documentation progress for user stories, edge cases, design updates, and task updates
Track and maintain the product backlog, making sure that any updates that happened during the course of development are reflected on each backlog ticket
Ownership and accountability for the company roadmap and release planning
Working hand-in-hand with developers and the Founder for any technical adjustments to the requirements
Supporting the Customer Success team: answering product questions, jumping into tickets, writing release notes, and keeping the internal knowledge base up to date
Presenting the status of each feature development, ensuring all departments are aligned with the progress
Establish the process for managing documentation
Documenting internal processes and decision logs so nothing ever gets lost
OUR REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in technical product management
Proven track record of writing excellent specs that developers love to work from

Real hands-on development experience – you have shipped production code (backend or full-stack preferred) is also a HUGE consideration
ABOUT YOU
(We only hire people who genuinely match most of these – be honest)

You spot gaps in the backlog, roadmap, or documentation before anyone asks.
You're proactive by default – if something needs doing, you do it or flag it.
You're structured and detail-oriented, but you ship fast.
You get energy from shipping features end-to-end in a tiny team.
You're flexible with hours when something urgent comes up (we're small).
You thrive on ownership and hate waiting for permission to make things better
You're a team player who celebrates when the company wins.
