This role is for editing short-form ads (30–60 seconds) for Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and Reels.
If your idea of editing is fancy transitions and cinematic color grading, this is not the role.
We need someone who understands:
Hook retention (first 3 seconds matter most)
Pattern interrupts
Fast pacing
Native-looking UGC style
Visual storytelling for conversions
Editing for performance, not for beauty
You should know how to:
Cut aggressively for retention
Add subtle but effective captions
Insert zooms and motion strategically
Highlight proof moments
Structure ads for installs / conversions
Work with screen recordings + UGC footage
Deliver fast turnaround 6-12 hours.
Requirements
Proven experience editing paid ads for Meta
Can show examples of performance ads (not just cinematic reels)
Understands conversion-focused editing
Fast and responsive
Available for ongoing work
Can handle multiple ads per week
Delivers clean, polished exports (no sloppy cuts)
