This is a hybrid position where you'll be required to be in office at least two days a week with the flexibility to work from home the remaining days if desired.
About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and talented Senior Product Designer to lead our design efforts in creating intuitive and delightful user experiences, while delivering on our Product vision. Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design will be key in crafting solutions that meet our user's needs and drive engagement. This is achieved by understanding and translating our customer's complex problems into thoughtful, intuitive designs.
Responsibilities
Build a deep understanding of the subject matter and problems we're solving for our customers
Always be an advocate for the end user that drives change to design and interaction with our products
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to bring designs to life
Work closely with product managers to ensure design fits function. Ensure deliverables are measured and validated post launch and have achieved an optimal user experience. If not, proactively iterate with the team.
Identify and influence our roadmap with opportunities to improve our user experience.
Iterate on design systems, style guides, and best practices to ensure all FacilityOS products represent a consistent and familiar user experience
Lead the design of our complex, and cross platform projects from end-to-end
Build and maintain user personas and storyboards
Engage our customers through interviews and usability testing
Formulate a repetitive approach to UX research and user testing
Communicate research learnings and test results to stakeholders
Present and support design deliverables to design peers and stakeholders. Be open to feedback and collaboration.
What You Bring to the Table:
Minimum 5 years of experience in product design, including web and mobile designs
At least 2 years of experience in a high-growth SaaS company
Formal and up to date training
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools
Love to collaborate and enjoy iterating on designs
An exceptionally portfolio to showcase your achievements
The ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
The ability to balance customer needs against the company's vision
