Reporting to the Front Office Manager and the Assistant Front Office Manager, the Front Desk Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and oversees the activities, as well as the human, material, and financial resources of the front desk and concierge operations.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service. They coordinate reservation entries in the computer system and ensure proper room inventory management. They also follow up on guest complaints and are involved in training new employees. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications
Experience in a supervisory role or in customer service
Strong computer skills and knowledge of hotel management software (an asset)
Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
High level of availability, patience, autonomy, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, stress tolerance, and discretion
Strong problem-solving abilities
High level of professionalism
Education
Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Hotel Management or a related field
Two (2) years of experience in the hospitality industry, including management responsibilities
Languages
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position, as we serve an international clients.
