Worley Canada Construction is seeking a full-time HR Intern to join our People Team at our office in Edmonton, AB beginning in March 2026 for a 4 month work term.
Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:
Provide support to the Recruitment team by assisting with:
Phone screens and reference checks
Interview coordination and support
Scheduling drug and alcohol pre-access testing
Posting requisitions for vacant positions
Sending mobilization email information to new candidates with project specific information
Collecting relevant training tickets and qualifications for candidates
Updating internal recruitment tool as required
HR Administration Support
Initiate change of engagement forms, demobilization forms, etc. as necessary for employees and contractors as needed and liaise with applicable site coordinators
Perform data audits and verification of data integrity
Issue employment verification letters
Respond to general inquiries from staff such as benefits, timesheets, and expenses
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Must be available for minimum 4 month work term (40 hrs per week) starting in March 2026.
Working towards a certificate, diploma or degree accreditation in Human Resources is preferred.
General knowledge of Human Resources functions and programs is an asset.
Competency in MS Office suite of tools, primarily Word, Outlook and Excel.
