Role Summary
We are hiring for a Financial Analyst – FP&A role where the selected candidate will work on a client project focused on financial planning, forecasting, and cost optimization. This position requires strong analytical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to work across global time zones.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with business teams, improving financial processes, and driving data-backed insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with Finance Business Partners to support budget owners in identifying cost savings opportunities and recommending spend optimization strategies.
• Track, manage, and report OPEX and COGS forecasts using SAP, Anaplan, and Adaptive Insights.
• Analyze forecast versus actual performance and communicate risks or opportunities to stakeholders.
• Work closely with Finance and HR teams to monitor headcount planning, including to-be-hired tracking.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis related to fixed costs and workforce planning.
• Own quarter-end activities, including cross-charges, accruals, and coordination with Corporate Accounting.
• Ensure adherence to financial and accounting policies and compliance standards.
• Build and enhance financial models, templates, and reporting processes.
• Support evolving business needs through analytical insights and process improvements.
Must-Have Skills
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Anaplan.
• Solid understanding of OPEX and COGS forecasting.
• Experience supporting headcount planning and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively across cultures and time zones.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with Adaptive Insights
• Exposure to corporate accounting processes and quarter-end close cycles.
• Experience building or improving financial models and reporting templates.
• Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate with US and India-based teams.
Certifications
• CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification is a plus.
