The app is already built (Ionic + Angular), and I'm now looking for a strong UI/UX designer to help elevate it to a modern, premium, App-Store-ready experience.
This role is not just about making things "look pretty." I'm looking for someone who can combine:
Clean, modern visual design
Thoughtful UX and user flows
Product thinking (retention, clarity, habit-forming UX)
*What I'm Looking For*
You're a great fit if you:
Have experience designing mobile apps (not just websites)
Can handle both UX (flows, structure) and UI (visual polish)
Design in Figma (required)
Think about usability, hierarchy, spacing, and clarity
Can explain why you design something a certain way
Are comfortable collaborating with a developer/founder
Bonus (not required but great):
Experience with food, lifestyle, or productivity apps
Familiarity with subscription or habit-based apps
Experience designing design systems or reusable components
*Scope of Work (Initial Phase)*
Initial focus will likely include:
Reviewing the current app UI
Improving overall visual style (modern, clean, friendly)
Redesigning key screens such as:
Meal planning
Recipe browsing
Shopping list
Improving navigation, spacing, typography, and hierarchy
Delivering Figma designs + clickable prototypes
Optional: basic design system (colors, buttons, components)
