What I'm Looking For
- Strong experience editing long-form YouTube videos
- Excellent sense of pacing and rhythm
- Knows how to cut for retention
- Comfortable working with dialogue-heavy footage
- Clean sound design, subtle music use, and intentional cuts
- Ability to follow brand style and improve it
Editing Style
- Natural, modern YouTube pacing (not over-edited)
- Smart jump cuts
- Strategic zooms, sound effects, and B-roll where it adds value
- Clear structure: hook → build → payoff
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Reliable turnaround times
- Able to take feedback and iterate
- Experience with long form YouTube editing
Nice to Have
- Experience with food or documentary-style content
- Understanding of YouTube analytics & retention
- Ability to suggest improvements to structure or flow
I currently upload one long form video a week and have plans to grow my channel throughout 2026. There will be ongoing work for the right editor
You will be responsible for cutting raw footage, adding transitions, and implementing graphics to create compelling videos that resonate with my audience.
