A career as an Executive Assistant within the Agriculture & Agri-food, Structuring Commercial financing and Emerging markets team at National Bank means playing a key role as a proactive partner to three Vice Presidents, directly contributing to the efficiency of their day to day activities and the smooth execution of the sector’s operations. This position allows you to have a tangible impact on organizational effectiveness through your coordination expertise, administrative rigor and strong sense of priorities.
Your role
- Proactively and independently manage the calendars, emails and follow ups of three Vice Presidents, prioritizing requests and anticipating needs.
- Coordinate the logistics of meetings and management forums (e.g., quarterly calls, one on one meetings, performance reviews), including the preparation of presentations.
- Organize business travel and expense tracking, both in Canada and internationally.
- Plan and support the logistics of events, biannual kick-off meetings and training sessions (virtual and in person), including vendor coordination and administrative follow up.
- Provide high level administrative support and take ownership of certain HR and IT processes, while operating with discretion and trust.
- Join a community of engaged assistants, collaborating closely with colleagues to share best practices, support one another and contribute to the continuous improvement of support across the sector.

This position reports to the Vice President, Agriculture and agri-food Canada. Prerequisites
- High school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience, or college diploma and 1 year of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated experience managing complex and changing calendars
- Strong autonomy and ability to anticipate team needs
- High attention to detail, excellent task execution, and ability to manage priorities
