Our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to manage and maintain our warehouse operations. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Operating and maintaining warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Performing routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assisting with the organization and inventory management of warehouse stock.
- Receiving, unpacking, and verifying shipments against purchase orders.
- Preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging.
- Implementing and enforcing safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to warehouse operations and inventory discrepancies.
- Supporting the logistics team in achieving operational goals and efficiency targets.
The successful candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of warehouse best practices. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. This position requires the ability to perform manual lifting of up to 40 pounds and a commitment to upholding a high standard of safety. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
