Join our busy warehouse in San Francisco, California, as a Warehouse Worker! We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to contribute to our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks such as loading and unloading shipments, moving materials within the warehouse, assisting with order picking and packing, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to handle materials efficiently and safely. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and supporting the overall efficiency of the warehouse. We place a high priority on safety and expect all employees to adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is a team player, possesses good physical stamina, and is committed to maintaining a productive and orderly workplace. Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
- Move materials and products within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and kitting as required.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including aisles and common areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with training.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Assist other warehouse staff as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar manual labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding and commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to learn and operate different types of warehouse equipment.
- Good communication skills.
