Our Boise, Idaho location is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, contributing significantly to the efficiency of our **Logistics** operations. You will conduct regular audits, investigate discrepancies, and implement improvements to our inventory management system. A commitment to **Safety** and adherence to **PPE** guidelines are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory data within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock rotation and identify items nearing expiration or obsolescence.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy and operational flow.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers accurately.
- Identify and report damaged or missing items.
- Assist in developing and refining inventory control policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company **Safety** policies.
- Perform tasks that may involve **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with **PPE** and warehouse **Safety** best practices.
- Understanding of **Logistics** and supply chain concepts.
- Capability to perform **Lifting** and manual tasks as required.
