This role is critical for the efficient management of our warehouse operations and overall **logistics** strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing the intake of all incoming shipments, verifying contents, and ensuring accurate inventory management. Additionally, you will prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring they meet all carrier and company standards. A strong focus on **safety**, detail, and efficiency is essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at using warehouse technology and will strictly adhere to all **PPE** guidelines. This position involves regular physical activity, including **Lifting** of packages. We are committed to providing a secure and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against orders.
- Accurately record inventory movements using warehouse management systems.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all **safety** protocols and **PPE** requirements.
- Perform **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Support overall **logistics** efficiency and supply chain integrity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Experience operating forklifts or other relevant machinery is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and shipping tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including frequent **Lifting**.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and proper **PPE** usage.
- Understanding of **logistics** operations.
