We are hiring an Order Picker for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. This role is vital to our **logistics** chain, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked from our extensive inventory. As an Order Picker, you will use scanning devices and order sheets to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves. Precision, speed, and a commitment to **safety** are essential qualities for success in this position. You will be responsible for maintaining the organization of your picking areas and adhering to all company **safety** protocols, including the correct use of **PPE**. This position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and **Lifting** of products. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of picking areas.
- Operate hand scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all **safety** policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize **PPE** as required.
- Perform **Lifting** tasks as necessary, up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our **logistics** operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product labels.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and perform **Lifting** throughout the shift.
- Commitment to **safety** and proper **PPE** usage.
- Understanding of **logistics** workflow.
