We are looking for a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the inbound and outbound flow of goods at our busy distribution center in Denver, Colorado. This critical role ensures that all inventory is received accurately, stored appropriately, and shipped out efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for inspecting deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing shipments for departure. Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to **safety** are paramount. As part of our **logistics** team, you'll work closely with carriers, internal departments, and other warehouse personnel to maintain smooth operations. This position involves regular physical activity, including **Lifting** and moving packages. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record inventory levels and update warehouse management systems.
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to carrier requirements and company standards.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Coordinate with truck drivers and delivery personnel for timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Adhere to all **PPE** requirements and company **safety** procedures.
- Safely handle **Lifting** of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Support overall **logistics** operations and contribute to team success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other relevant machinery (certification may be required).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including frequent **Lifting** and standing.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and adherence to **PPE** protocols.
- Understanding of **logistics** principles.
