We are hiring Picker/Packers for our growing logistics facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a key role in our distribution process, focused on accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from various warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Apply appropriate labels and shipping documentation to packages.
- Stage packed orders for shipment, ensuring they are ready for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet individual and team performance goals for picking and packing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure error-free order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the critical importance of PPE.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment and manage time efficiently.
- Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude.
