We are looking for energetic and efficient Picker/Packers to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This fast-paced environment demands attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Your responsibilities will include using scanning equipment to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves, verifying picked items against order tickets, and carefully packing products to prevent damage during transit. You will be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent order processing. Understanding our logistics flow and contributing to its smooth operation is key. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are required to follow strict safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 30 lbs and moving throughout the warehouse. Teamwork and communication are vital as you collaborate with colleagues to meet daily shipping goals.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock management as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet performance targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate RF scanners and basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity for sustained physical activity, including frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
