We have an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator in sunny Miami, Florida! If you are a certified and experienced forklift driver with a keen eye for Safety and efficiency, we encourage you to apply. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack merchandise within our busy warehouse. This role is integral to our Logistics workflow, ensuring that materials are handled properly and efficiently. Your duties will include pre-operation checks, maintaining equipment, and strictly adhering to all Safety regulations and company policies. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires the ability to perform substantial Lifting when needed and a solid understanding of warehouse operations. - Operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading goods from trucks and trailers.
- Moving and organizing inventory within the warehouse racking system.
- Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
- Adhering to all Safety protocols, including OSHA standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth Logistics operations.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Safely handling materials requiring significant Lifting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting when required.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations and inventory management.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
