Job Summary:
Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina! We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is vital for our Logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing improvements to our inventory management systems. A strong understanding of warehouse processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Performing regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitoring stock levels and alerting management to potential shortages or overages.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Collaborating with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth Logistics flow.
  • Assisting with the training of new staff on inventory procedures.
  • Understanding and enforcing Safety protocols related to stock handling and storage.
  • Responsible for safe Lifting and movement of goods when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting.
  • Familiarity with required PPE.
