We are recruiting a reliable Distribution Center Associate for our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks essential for the smooth functioning of our warehouse. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will engage in activities such as receiving and unloading inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be trained on various warehouse equipment and expected to adhere to all safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect inventory for damage and accuracy.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick products for customer orders accurately.
- Pack items securely for shipping.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
