We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibilities include locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves using scanning devices and order lists, as well as preparing items for packing and shipping. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and physical stamina. You will be working within a dynamic logistics environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Safety is paramount; adherence to all warehouse safety protocols and the correct use of PPE are mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders and stock keeping units (SKUs).
- Use RF scanners and order picking equipment to locate products efficiently.
- Verify picked items against order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Meet established picking performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
