As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in the movement and organization of goods throughout our distribution center. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate and efficient handling of inventory. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and packing orders. This involves moving materials manually and with the assistance of equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks. Your contributions are essential to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and meeting customer demands. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and storage areas accurately.
- Pick items for customer orders with precision.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and utilize required PPE.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
