We are looking for motivated individuals to join our warehouse as Picker/Packers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory based on order sheets, carefully packing them for shipment, and ensuring all orders are ready for dispatch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to our logistics operations and customer satisfaction. A strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. We value team players who can also work independently and manage their time effectively to meet productivity goals. Your precision will ensure our customers receive the correct products in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify picked items against order sheets for accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking.
- Operate packing equipment and machinery safely.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and protocols.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Support the Logistics team in other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices.
- Basic understanding of Logistics processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be willing to wear and use required PPE.
