Job Summary:
Are you a skilled technician with a knack for keeping warehouse operations running smoothly? We're seeking a Warehouse Technician for our facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is essential for maintaining the functionality of our warehouse equipment, ensuring that our logistics processes are efficient and reliable. You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and other automated equipment. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, combined with a commitment to Safety, is crucial. You will work closely with the warehouse team to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to preventative maintenance. Your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless flow of goods and materials. We value individuals who are detail-oriented and possess strong diagnostic skills. Ensuring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount in this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with machinery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure all equipment is compliant with Safety regulations.
  • Work with vendors for specialized repairs and parts procurement.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment.
  • Implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and Safety.
  • Ensure proper operation of our Logistics infrastructure.
  • Adhere to all workplace Safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Excellent understanding of Safety protocols in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with Logistics equipment is a significant advantage.
  • Must be able to perform moderate Lifting as required.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
