Our busy logistics facility in Houston, Texas, is looking for a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring that all outbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, generating manifests, and verifying shipment details before dispatch. Accurate data entry and strong organizational skills are essential for success. You will work closely with our warehouse staff and transportation partners to coordinate pickups and resolve any shipping-related issues. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Safety is our utmost concern; therefore, all employees must strictly follow Safety protocols and wear the required PPE, including safety vests and gloves. While primarily administrative, occasional Lifting of packages up to 30 lbs may be required. Familiarity with shipping software and a basic understanding of logistics procedures are advantageous.
