Join our fast-paced logistics hub in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a Shipping Clerk. This critical role ensures that all outgoing shipments are accurately processed, documented, and dispatched on time. You will be responsible for verifying shipping information, preparing labels and shipping documents, and coordinating with carriers to schedule pickups. A strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for success in this position. You will use our shipping software to generate reports, track shipments, and resolve any discrepancies. This role requires the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines consistently. Safety is paramount in our warehouse; you must adhere to all Safety protocols and wear the designated PPE, including safety vests and gloves. While primarily an administrative role, there may be occasional requirements for Lifting boxes and assisting with loading/unloading, typically up to 30 lbs. Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial. The ideal candidate is proactive, a team player, and committed to accuracy.
