Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Package and prepare materials for internal or external shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, particularly those concerning safety and the use of PPE.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Certification and experience operating forklifts are a strong asset.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear provided PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
