We are hiring an Order Picker for our Indianapolis, Indiana distribution center! As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their products accurately and on time. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, using a scanner and order sheets. This involves navigating the warehouse efficiently, **Lifting** and moving products, and ensuring the correct items and quantities are picked. Maintaining an organized and **safe** work area is essential. We are committed to workplace **safety**, and all employees must adhere to strict **safety** protocols and wear designated **PPE**. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on pick lists or scanners.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package selected items securely for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Perform **Lifting** of products up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **logistics** and fulfillment process.
- Report any damages or discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Capable of **Lifting** up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Understanding of warehouse **safety** procedures and **PPE**.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced **logistics** setting.
