Job Summary:
Our rapidly expanding distribution center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is looking for a Distribution Center Associate. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities include a range of tasks such as receiving, stocking, order selection, packing, and preparing shipments. We need individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be an integral part of our logistics network, contributing to our ability to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and log all incoming merchandise.
  • Stock received items accurately into designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick items for customer orders using scanners or pick lists, ensuring accuracy.
  • Pack orders carefully and securely for shipment, selecting appropriate materials.
  • Label and stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and audits.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on safety and the correct use of PPE.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize logistics processes.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is highly valued.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the critical importance of PPE.
  • Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations is advantageous.
