Our Virginia Beach, Virginia, facility is looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory management, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of **Logistics** and warehouse management systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. This includes managing **PPE** distribution and ensuring its proper use. The ability to handle **Lifting** of various materials is essential, as is a proactive approach to **Safety**. You will play a key role in optimizing warehouse processes and driving operational excellence. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound **Logistics** operations.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
- Ensure efficient **Lifting** and storage of goods.
- Implement and enforce **Safety** procedures and **PPE** usage.
- Manage shipping schedules and carrier relationships.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in **Logistics** and supply chain management.
- Ability to manage **Lifting** tasks and ensure safe handling of goods.
- Commitment to maintaining a **Safety**-first culture.
- Experience with **PPE** management and training.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
