Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Oversee the proper use and storage of materials and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and adjustments.
- Train other warehouse personnel on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support Logistics operations by ensuring equipment readiness and efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and inventory data.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Experience with WMS and other warehouse technologies.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using appropriate PPE.
