Join our dynamic team as a Shipping Clerk in Provo, Utah! This role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and meet all shipping requirements. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring products are packed securely for transit. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a dedication to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.).
- Verify order accuracy and ensure correct items and quantities are packed.
- Package products securely and appropriately for shipment to prevent damage.
- Operate shipping software and equipment, such as scanners and scales.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and track shipments.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all shipping regulations and company policies, including safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as receiving or order picking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common carrier portals.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving some Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations.
