Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is critical to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse area.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet performance targets for accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
