We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to join our Baltimore, Maryland warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout our facility. Your duties will include loading, unloading, sorting, and staging of goods, playing a vital part in our overall logistics and supply chain operations. A strong focus on Safety, the ability to perform physical tasks, and a willingness to work collaboratively are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Sort and organize materials according to established procedures.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stage materials for shipment or further processing.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Good understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Familiarity with basic material handling equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic knowledge of logistics processes is a plus.
