We are seeking an organized and efficient Picker/Packer to join our busy San Diego, California warehouse. This role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent manual dexterity, and be committed to maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing RF scanners and other tools to manage inventory and fulfill orders. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety, and you will be expected to follow all guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, and to practice safe Lifting techniques. - Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order slips or RF scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring the correct materials and methods are used for shipment.
- Verify order contents against customer requirements before sealing and labeling packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other relevant warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Perform tasks that involve regular Lifting of goods, up to a specified weight limit.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
