In this role, you will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and ability to work quickly are vital to our operational success. You will utilize scanning equipment and order pick lists to guide your tasks in our dynamic warehouse environment. We prioritize a safe workplace and provide comprehensive training on all procedures, emphasizing the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety regulations. This position requires physical stamina, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift items weighing up to 30-50 pounds. - Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify the contents of each order for accuracy before packing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and mandatory PPE requirements.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long durations and lifting up to 30-50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
